Bakery Assistant
Wages: $14-$16/hour
Shift/Schedule:
Job Type: Part-time
Position: Perfect for culinary students or those with basic culinary experience. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the pastry sous chef with bakery production, scaling ingredients, making and scooping doughs and batters, making buttercreams, and various other products, cutting products accurately, etc. Finishing techniques such as piping skills, cake decorating, and glazing is also helpful. All staff are expected to keep all areas of the shop clean including sweeping and mopping, dishes, and help with customers including packing and taking orders, answering phones, etc. Experience in a production kitchen or food related industry is preferred. ServSafe certification is a plus but not required. Schedule is flexible but availability on Saturdays and Sundays is a must. A working interview is required. Must be at least 18 years old.
Retail Counter
Wages: $13-$15/hour
Shift/Schedule:
Job Type: Part-time
Position: We are looking for a few energetic and capable people to join our team. Counter staff duties include, but are not limited to, customer service, stocking the pastry case and retail items, cleaning the retail areas of the shop including sweeping and mopping, and dishes. Customer service experience is preferred but not required. You just need to be neat, friendly, and professional. Opening and closing shifts available Tuesday through Sunday. The ability to work through the fall and into winter is great! Must be at least 14 years old, over 16 preferred.
